Shopping at the Hema

HEMA is a  Dutch department store. The first store opened
November  4,1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are 150 stores all over

Take a look at HEMA's product page. You can't order anything and
it's in Dutch, but just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.
Don't click on any of the products pictured, just wait and see what
happens.  Be  sure you have your sound turned on.

A dog

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard.
I could tell from her collar and well-fed belly that she had a home and was well taken care of.
She calmly came over to me, I gave her a few pats on her head; she then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.

An hour later, she went to the door, and I let her out.

The next day she was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed her spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour.
This continued off and on for several weeks.

Curious I pinned a note to her collar:
'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'

The next day she arrived for her nap, with a different note pinned to her collar:
'She lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 - she's trying to catch up on her sleep.
Can I come with her tomorrow?

The Maiden Voyage

He just bought a new boat and decided to take her for the maiden voyage.
This was his first boat and he wasn't quite sure of the exact Standard Operating Procedures for launching it off a ramp, but figured it couldn't be too hard.
He consulted his local boat dealer for advice, but they just said "don't let the trailer get too deep when you are trying to launch the boat".
Well, he didn't know what they meant by that as he could barely get the trailer in the water at all!
Anyhow, here's a picture below.
You are going to love this guy!!!

Save the airlines

Got this in the mail today... very funny :-)

===

How to save the airlines.........

Dump the male flight attendants. No one wanted them in the first place.

Replace all the female flight attendants with good-looking strippers! What the hell - the attendants have gotten old and haggard-looking. They don't even serve food anymore, so what's the loss? The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and get a "party atmosphere" going in the cabin.

And, of course, every businessman in this country would start flying again, hoping to see naked women.

Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn't need a salary, thus saving even more money. I suspect tips would be so good that we could charge the women for working and have them kick back 20% of the tips.

Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of seeing naked women. Hijackings would come to a screeching halt, and the airline industry would see record revenues. This is definitely a win -win situation if we handle it right - a golden opportunity to turn a liability into an asset.

Why the hell didn't Bush think of this? Why do I still have to do everything myself?

Sincerely,

Bill Clinton

Developers and managers

Software developer can learn to be a manager in 5 steps!

On the move again

I'm now in Boston waiting for my flight to the Netherlands.

Another customer visit, so I'll hit Amsterdam monday morning and fly out again on Friday. A busy week... time at the customer, meet up with the SDN guys, meet with my MRA Group partners and visit with friends and family. Great!

My XBox can talk!

I've added a control to my page which links to my XBox live profile.

It was kinda of a shock to see how much information is actually recorded about my fun-time.

The application (http://www.360voice.com/blog.asp?tag=markblomsma) is really cool.
